Questions for your consideration...

Have you made THE decision?

No matter who you are, no matter where you are, no matter what you’ve done, God loves you!  God’s incredible love is demonstrated by the giving a gracious gift – the life of Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the foundation for all that we do.  Friendship-West is a Christian movement, but there can be no Christian movement apart from the man, the mercy, and the mission embodied in Jesus Christ.  Connecting to Jesus Christ is the most important decision of your life both for this world and the next.  As we become more connected to Christ, we realize more and more that joining Jesus has many awesome blessings! Have you made the decision to be connected to Christ?  If you haven’t, let us help you.  If you have, let us help you live out your decision.

In response to this most important decision of your life, what’s next?

You!  Let us help you live out this amazing decision!

What kind of church is Friendship-West?

Friendship-West is a family of faith that recognizes the inextricable connection of Jesus and justice!  This is visible in how Jesus actively ministered not only in the sanctuary but also in the streets!  This is also evident in the first recorded message that Jesus delivered:

The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
Luke 4:18-19

As a result, our vision statement is:
Friendship West will be a game changing Christian movement
connecting people to Jesus Christ and, fighting for justice,
while creating the “Beloved Community.”
We are a church that recognizes that Jesus is still working through the church, that the church is not the building but the believers, and that we all have an assignment that we are called to live out on purpose!  Friendship-West is deployed to help all of us become all that God has called us to be as together we roll up our sleeves to serve this present age.

How can I join Friendship-West?

It’s simple!  Let us know that you’d like to join us!  You can do that right now!  Complete the "Join Friendship-West Card" or call our Prayer Hotline at 469-498-0210 and let one of our prayer warriors know that you want to join Friendship-West!  You can also email JoinUs@FriendshipWest.org.
Additionally, at the conclusion of each worship experience or Bible study, you’ll witness what we call an “Invitation."  This invitation is for you if you have not yet received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, if you would like to rededicate your life to Christ the Lord, or if you are in search of a church home and would like to join Friendship-West. Responding to the Invitation is an essential, simple step in accordance to Scripture, instructing each to make a public profession of faith.

What is baptism and how can I get baptized?

Baptism is an important and rewarding observance that demonstrates your heart’s commitment to the Lord. Our baptism services are on hold during this time of spatial distancing but we will keep track so that baptisms can be done when we return to in person services.
