The Women of the West (WOW) Community serves all the women of Friendship West. We're here to lift up, encourage and honor all the women, of the church.  We address relevant issues for women, including gender justice, selfcare and spiritual strengthening. We also provide support for Ashanti, our girls mentoring ministry.

Our powerful bible studies are every 1st and 3rd Monday each month, currently on Zoom. Based on the church monthly theme, our bible study will provide biblical and practical teachings, that are life applicable. We provide an atmosphere for great fellowship, laughter and transparency. What happens in "The Power Room", stays in the "The Power Room." The testimonies our sisters share, tell of God's goodness, grace and mercy, through every situation. Our goal is to reach out to and build up the entire female congregation, and to the glorify our Heavenly Father.

Our annual ministry events include the Social Justice Hattitude Tea, in the summer, and the women's conference, in the fall. It's our goal for each sister to leave the event stronger than when she came. The dynamic speakers always provide great, uplifting information and speak directly to the hearts of each attendee.
